Introduction

profile team in the behavioral analysis unit (BAU) of the FBI. Bau,
based in Quantico, Virginia, is part of the FBI's National Center for
violent crime analysis. Different from other model crime dramas, which
focus on crime, the drama focuses on the life experience and
psychological state of criminals. Behavior analysts in the group
